Main research fields: Precambrian geology. Mainly engaging in early Precambrian geological studies in North China. The tectonic attributes of important geological events in North China Craton are comprehensively explored by using methods of petrology, geochemistry and isotopic geochronology. He has been responsible for or led the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, All China Commission of Stratigraphy and geological survey. More than 20 papers have been published the first author, 12 of which are included by SCI.
